If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there’s nothing to it
You may have clicked to read more expecting me to announce that scientists had finally cracked it, and found a way on how the human race can soar with the birds. Well I’m sorry to break it to you, you won’t find that announcement here. But rather this is a metaphorical motivational post for dreamers to become doers… A while back I wrote a post on starting where you stand and equally one on seizing the day which helped to inspire this post.
Many of us have big dreams and aspirations, but I’ve noticed that what sets the likes of Bill Gates, Richard Branson and many successful entrepreneurs apart from the rest of us is that they did not only dare to dream, but they took the leap of faith.. I’ve watched a few interviews here and there, and read a few things written by these guys and none of them are afraid to admit that they have experienced their fair share of turbulence (some more than others). No one said it was going to be easy.
So let’s ditch the endless talk, and starting sentences with ‘I wish’ and rather lets become doers. It’s all about seizing the next opportunity and moving forward, getting that little bit closer to our goal. So I dare you to spread your wings and fly. If travelling is on your mind, I dare you to pack in the 9-5, sell your unwanted goods and by yourself a ticket to the destination of your choice. If that’s not being a doer I really don’t know what is.
Remember, there’s nothing to it, just spread your wings and fly…
